Youth are pivotal in climate action, especially in Asia-Pacific, home to over half the world's youth and facing significant climate challenges. While there's progress in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SDG 13 on climate action is lagging. Youth, being tech-savvy and innovative, are crucial in addressing issues like greenhouse gas emissions, food systems, and natural disasters. The upcoming 11th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (20-23 February 2024) is a key platform to showcase youth-led climate solutions, emphasizing the need for more youth engagement and international cooperation for a sustainable future.
